Military Spouse

Well this was not my original assignment, When I got married my husband was not in the military nor was he even thinking about it. This was something that just happened. Here I was thrust into a whole different world. I was use to the ghetto's although I hate to admit it.  When I became a military wife the bitterness, and the racism I felt cannot be compared to the ghetto's of America. We lived in all the Suburbs of America, but the families who were not the color of my skin did not mix well with the likes of me. I knew then that racism was very much real. I wanted to go back home , I wanted to be back around my friends and the people that society had ruled out. I did not fit in. I had no friends and finding a job proved a task all by itself. I started to hate people and I didn't know if i was becoming a racist, I began to pray and ask god for help, I was scared and  lost. My husband was having problems in the military and our marriage was taking a beating. After about six months a silver line began to open. I was hired as a cashier at a very prominent market, where I made my way as a manager in no time. The people there was very diverse and they were wonderful  although I lived in a community that clearly did not accept me I finally had friends and they were all colors and at that moment I knew god had a plan for my life, The same way  that he has a plan for yours...
In my book their are stories like these and many more about overcoming and getting through all circumstances with the grace of God...http://amzn.com/1456035053
